We are a dedicated team of four local professionals in a family run company that has been trading since 2007. Over that period we have built an unrivalled reputation of excellence by providing high standards of honest workmanship to all our customers, both domestic and commercial.

The company was formed by Rob Reeve, a former employee of a large national franchise

From the young age of 16-19 years, Rob enjoyed his short career as a carpet and upholstery cleaning technician, cleaning and inspecting all types of small spot marks to newly laid carpets for insurance claims and full restoration cleans to all types of fibres and fabrics
The company Rob was employed by was taken over by a large organisation that wanted to squeeze as much out of their customers as possible reducing the time allocated to appointments to raise the profits. At this time, Rob could see customer satisfaction going downhill. Instead of an enjoyable appointment, it soon turned out that the priority was to clean an extra carpet in the available time

Soon after, Rob decided to leave the company, on good terms, to set up a small business initially called Kesgrave Carpet Care. Within the first year of trading, business grew rapidly with high customer recommendations leading to an employee being required. The recommendations had grown due to Rob’s hard work, dedication, customer focus and investment in his business. It was a risk taking on a new carpet care technician and it could have potentially damaged the business if the work was substandard. However the decision was made to have faith in an employee and to train and tailor their skills to match Rob’s work and quality ethic.

Investing time into people, equipment and brand image had proven to give Kesgrave Carpet Care a great reputation, but the local name did not help with new enquiries or referrals outside of a 10 mile radius of Kesgrave. The idea then came about to rename the business, to reassure new customers that it was not out of the question to drive a few extra miles to provide a carpet cleaning service in a wider area.

At the time we may have gone a step too far but due to high demand, anything was possible, so the name UK Carpet Care Ltd was decided on to overcome confusion then and in the future.

We now have a local trading name for all areas we cover to ensure our customers don’t come from too far afield and to prevent confusion.
